RegenHub dispatch

June 29, 2026

Hi friends,

It's been a good couple of weeks at the hub. Lots of music, a fair bit of AI tinkering, and more than a few bikes rolling out into the evening. Here's some of what's been going on.

Vibe Night (formerly AI Nights)

We renamed our weekly AI night. It's Vibe Night now, which honestly just fits better. Same idea as before: show up, mess around with whatever's interesting in AI, learn from each other. Last week we got into local and sovereign computing.

This Thursday at 5pm we're switching gears to AV and creativity: Suno for music, Palmier for video, and whatever else people feel like bringing. Bring your bike too, because we head straight out to the Cruiser Ride at 7:15 after.

Friday dialogue

At our Friday dialogue we got to host Austin Wade Smith. He walked us through River Computer, his work on coordination between people, living systems, and machines, plus a project called Waka. Thanks Austin — that one stuck with a lot of us.

Our resident ventures, woven in

Part of what makes this place different: you're not just using tools here, you get a hand in shaping the ones the whole cooperative runs on.

Gitcoin has been deep in decentralized tech lately, ATProto especially, and we're preparing to build some of it into how we organize events in Boulder — so the way we coordinate becomes something the community can own and help govern, not just rent from a platform.

Parachute just shared a reflection on its first year building personal, self-hostable AI (The mind is like a parachute), and we've started using it to organize some of the cooperative's internal knowledge. They're opening the beta to more community folks too, so if owning your own AI and knowledge is your thing, come say hi.

It feels good when the tools we use are ones we get to help build and steer.

The AV Club keeps growing

Our AV Club steward has been quietly building out the setup, digital and analog both. Newest addition: a vibro-acoustic bed, on top of the growing pile of drums. At the last Happy Hour someone kicked off a drum and instrument circle that drifted right into our gratitude circle, and honestly it was kind of magic. Come find out.

Thank you, Michael

Big thanks to Michael, who's become a real steward of our local infrastructure. The new shade sail has made rooftop co-working and Happy Hour way more bearable in the sun, and the always-on sparkling water means we're not tossing hundreds of Spindrift cans into the recycling every month anymore. Little things that add up.

Coming up

Everything's at lu.ma/regenhub.

Come hang out

Whether you want to vibe at Happy Hour, dig into a book together, or just get a quiet day of work in, there's room for you here. Your first day's on us — grab it at RegenHub.xyz. Come co-work, come make something, come be part of it.

See you at the hub, The RegenHub crew 1515 Walnut St, Suite 200, Boulder, CO
